25 November 2017 - YWCA Australia AGM 2017

YWCA Australia will be holding their Annual General Meeting, Saturday 25 November, from 2pm at the Donkey Wheel House Level 2, 673 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000.

Incoming President Julie Boyd will be addressing the AGM and there will be opportunities to meet and greet following official AGM business. Following the AGM will be a celebratory reception from 4 - 5.30pm, open to all AGM participants and special guests. 

We will be live streaming to YouTube to enable virtual attendance. Please register for this service by 15 November.

OCTOBER 16-22 World YWCA Week without Violence 2017

The YWCA Week without Violence is an annual global campaign to end the scourge of violence against women and girls. From 16 to 22 October, 2017, Join us in raising awareness, promoting attitude changes and advocating for an end to all forms of violence against women, and girls. This YWCA-led annual global campaign encourages communities all over the world to think and act towards a world without violence.

13 October 2017 - Supporting Young Women's Leadership WORKSHOP

Sixteen young women leaders have been selected from across the Asia-Pacific region to participate in a forum in Melbourne from 10 - 12 October 2017 to equip and empower them as future leaders. Click to read more about the program. 

The final day of the workshop will be held in Canberra where NGOs, researchers, policy makers and other young women leaders are invited to join the workshop to share experiences, knowledge, and build communities of support for young women's leadership. Register now to join the workshop in Canberra on 13 October 2017.
